Privacy Policy
What this site is
Brandager is a static website. It has no accounts, no comment system, no newsletter and no advertising, and nothing about you is sold.
The contact form
If you send the form on the contact page, it collects your name, your email address, your message, whether you would like a call, and which of our offers or pages you came from. It is emailed to us and stored in our own database on our web host so we can reply and keep track of the conversation. If you asked about the Impact & Growth Special, you also receive an automatic email confirming we got it.
Alongside your message we store a hashed version of your IP address (not the address itself), the page you came from, and your browser type. The form also records the time the page loaded and checks a hidden field. All of this is used only to reject spam and abusive submissions.
Nothing you send is sold, shared, or added to a mailing list.
Google reCAPTCHA
The contact page also uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from automated spam. There is no puzzle to solve; it runs in the background. To do that, Google collects information about your device and how you use the page, such as your IP address, browser details and cookies it sets, and when you send the form we pass Google the result and your IP address to check it. reCAPTCHA loads on the contact page only. Its use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 on every page to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies in your browser so it can recognize a returning visit, and reports data such as page views, approximate location by region, the referring site and device type. We do not use it to identify individual visitors. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's privacy policy.
Blocking cookies or using a tracker-blocking extension stops this collection, and the site works normally without it.
Cookies
The only cookies used on this site are set by Google Analytics, on every page, and Google reCAPTCHA, on the contact page only, as described above. Nothing else on the site sets or reads a cookie.
Embedded video
Where a page includes a YouTube video, nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. The video then plays in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube's own terms apply from that point.
Server logs
Our web host records standard access logs - IP address, timestamp, requested page, and browser type - as part of running the server. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
Changes
This page is updated when what the site does changes, rather than on a schedule.
